It’s a brand new day, and you are about to head to the game. There is electricity in the air as you get closer to the stadium. Thousands of players have tried out to make it to one of the handfuls of teams in the league. Fewer players make the cut, and only a select few players and teams make it to the big game. Heading to the game, announcers and commentators are fired up, making predictions on the players’ performance in the teams. Social Media, especially the Twittersphere, is filled with speculation and some good old-fashioned trash talk up right until the start of the game. Once the game starts, the news and social media really take off.
To make things interesting, after all, fortune favors the bold. So you want to put some money on the game, not just a token amount but a life-changing amount. You know the players and coaches, but you are a busy professional. You aren’t really sure which team(s) to place your bet on. So you ask a few of your friends who have some knowledge and follow the game closely, and you bet big and give all your gambling money to him. Sounds brilliant, right?
Most intelligent and rationale people would think you are out of your mind to give most of your money to a gambling professional and they would be right.
However, the game we are taking place is here:
Welcome to the Market, the most exciting game on the planet where the best players and teams are moving in and out 24/7 worldwide. Most professionals not working on the street do the equivalent of giving a sizeable amount of money to a professional gambler, i.e., financial advisor broker, etc. This is money that they are hoping and praying grows into a life-changing amount of money. Money that is used to fund their retirement, adventures, give their kids a first-class education, money that could save their life, Heaven forbid in the event of illness, or for whatever they want to do with it. After all, this is America, home to the ambitions and brave where our nation’s lifeblood is funded by with and through Capitalism.
So welcome to the Market. Stay tuned for more we will teach you how to play it.
P.S. Yankee stadium was used because love them or hate them, The Yankees hold 27 World Series Championships. The most championships of any team in any major sports league. Because at the end of the day, both in sports and in the Market, Winning is the really only thing that matters.
